The glass vial with a white body and black‑gold spray pump represents an elegant and functional packaging solution for liquid preparations where precise and hygienic application in the form of a fine mist is important. High-quality glass provides a stable environment for your formulations and, in combination with the spray pump, enables convenient dosing without contact with the contents.
This type of packaging is particularly popular for cosmetic and personal care products where even application to the skin or into the air is required. The glass bottle ensures good chemical resistance to common cosmetic and technical mixtures and reduces the risk of affecting the fragrance, colour, or stability of the contents. The opaque white body also helps protect more sensitive components from excessive light exposure.
This product forms a complete combination of glass vial and spray pump, which has been designed and tested specifically for use on Handymade.sk. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing, and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure of reliable use for your particular product.

Glass is generally a very suitable material for cosmetic formulations containing essential oils, as it is chemically stable and minimises the risk of substances migrating from the packaging into the product. However, we always recommend testing the specific recipe in a small trial batch and monitoring the behaviour of the mixture over time, including the functionality of the spray pump at the selected viscosity and proportion of the oil phase.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to prevent microbiological contamination and the transfer of fragrances or residues from the previous formulation. For disinfection, we recommend using, for example, the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/ target="_blank") or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný (/etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/ target="_blank"). After disinfection, leave all parts to dry thoroughly and only then refill the packaging.
Before the first filling, we recommend rinsing the bottle with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly, allowing it to dry, and then disinfecting the inner space and the thread. From a hygiene point of view, the safest option is to use a disinfectant alcohol, for example IPA 99 % or plant‑based ethanol of a quality intended for technical or cosmetic use. After applying the alcohol, leave all parts to dry completely at room temperature and only then fill the container with the selected product.
Before recycling, always empty the packaging completely and, if possible, rinse out any product residues. The glass body of the bottle is intended to be sorted into the glass container, in accordance with local waste management rules. The spray pump and plastic parts are sorted according to the material type specified in the product parameters – most often they belong in the container intended for plastic. If you are not sure, follow the markings on the packaging or the information in the parameter table on the product page. In this way, you minimise the impact on the environment and at the same time make effective use of the recycling system.
