The Glass Bottle, Vial, Cream Dispenser with Smoke Top is a compact container designed for hygienic and controlled dispensing of both liquid and lighter cream formulations. The glass is material stable and neutral, which promotes the preservation of product properties during storage and daily use. The dark glass design naturally reduces light exposure and helps protect more sensitive ingredients from UV rays. The packaging has a food grade rating, so it is also suitable for selected food applications (depending on the specific filling and use).
Packaging and closure combinations that are created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and packaging behavior in contact with the specific formulation). It works best for lighter cream, gel and fluid textures. For thicker formulations, we recommend doing your own test of flow and dispensing comfort to ensure the application matches expectations.
Yes, dark glass naturally reduces light transmission and helps protect more sensitive ingredients from UV rays. For products with extracts or actives, it is advisable to combine appropriate packaging with proper storage out of direct sunlight as well.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before filling, the packaging should be cleaned and then disinfected (ALK001 / ALK002), e.g. with IPA 99% (isopropyl alcohol) or Ethanol 96%, and then allow all parts to dry completely.
Yes, the packaging is also suitable for food use - for example, for liquid nutritional supplements, tinctures or extracts intended for internal use. We recommend taking into account the nature of the filling (e.g. alcohol content, acidity, presence of essential oils) and performing your own compatibility test.
If you choose not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it. Take the glass bottle to a glass collection. Separate the dispensing part from the glass and sort it into the plastic collection according to local rules. Before discarding, empty the container and remove any residual product to facilitate further processing.
