The glass is material stable and neutral, which helps to preserve the original properties of the formulas without unwanted effects of the packaging. With dark or opaque glass, the packaging also naturally helps to protect the contents from light and UV rays, which is especially important for sensitive oils and extracts. The enclosed Packaging Quality Attestation also indicates food-grade quality, so the packaging is also suitable for selected products for internal use depending on your application and type of filling.
Packaging and closure combinations that are created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test of the seal, dispensing and packaging behavior in contact with the specific formulation.

Yes, as long as the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate indicates food grade, the packaging is also suitable for selected food applications such as tinctures or liquid nutritional supplements.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each refill, the packaging should be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with IPA 99% or Ethanol 96% and then allowed to dry completely.
We recommend cleaning and disinfecting the packaging before the first filling, especially for products with higher hygiene requirements such as lotions or tinctures.
If you choose not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it. Take the glass part to the glass collection and take the plastic parts to the plastic collection. By separating the materials, you will encourage efficient processing in the recycling chain.
