For what types of products is a pipette with a safety lock most practical?

The pipette is particularly practical for liquid products where accurate dosing and quantity control is important (e.g. serums, solutions, oils and extracts). For thicker or very viscous formulations, we recommend testing for smooth suction and dispensing.

Is this packaging also suitable for tinctures or liquid nutritional supplements?

Yes, the packaging is food grade, so it is also suitable for tinctures, liquid nutritional supplements and extracts intended for internal use. We recommend that you observe filling hygiene and carry out your own compatibility test with the specific contents (sealing and dispensing behaviour of the filling).

Can I reuse the packaging?

Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each refill, the packaging should be cleaned and disinfected (ALK001 / ALK002), for example with IPA 99% (isopropyl alcohol) or ethanol 96%, and then allowed to dry completely.

Why is dark glass advantageous when storing sensitive ingredients?

Dark glass naturally limits the transmission of light and UV rays, which can help protect more sensitive ingredients (such as oils and extracts) and promote product stability during storage.

How do I safely dispose of and recycle the packaging if I choose not to reuse it?

If you choose not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it. As the materials are glass, plastic and silicone, it is ideal to separate the components: empty the glass vial, rinse if possible and sort into a glass container; sort the plastic parts into plastic. Sort silicone parts according to local collection rules (if separate collection is not available, they usually belong in mixed waste).
