The glass bottle - roll-on vial is a practical container for convenient and precise application of liquid mixtures directly on the skin. The roll-on system is suitable where clean dispensing, application control and comfort at home and on the go are crucial. The dark design naturally helps to protect the more sensitive ingredients from light, which is especially appreciated by oils, extracts and aromatic blends. According to the enclosed documentation, the food grade is also indicated, which may make the packaging suitable for selected products intended for internal use (always according to your recipe and internal test).
Packaging and closure combinations that are created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing, and packaging behavior in contact with the specific formulation). For additives and alternatives you can use the category Toppers and caps.

Yes, roll-on application is practical for oil blends and aromatherapy formulations as it allows controlled application to selected areas. However, we recommend testing the applicator's behavior at specific viscosities and formulations (especially at higher essential oil ratios).
We recommend using the advanced filter, which can be found at the top of the page by clicking on a specific category. You can filter by parameters such as neck, size, colour and material to help you quickly select the packaging suitable for your product type.
The packaging can be reused as long as hygiene guidelines are followed. Before refilling, the packaging needs to be cleaned and disinfected - for this purpose you can use for example IPA 99% (ALK001) or Ethanol 96% (ALK002). Always allow the packaging to dry completely and then test the functionality of the applicator.
Food grade is indicated for this packaging, so it may be suitable for selected food applications (e.g. tinctures or liquid extracts). However, we always recommend assessing the suitability for your specific product and conducting your own compatibility and hygiene test.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it. Sort the glass part into a glass container. Dispose of the other parts (applicator and cap) according to the material listed in the product parameters - usually in plastic or metal. Before discarding, empty and rinse the container to reduce contamination of the sorted waste.
