The glass bottle (vial) is a practical and professional-looking packaging for liquid products, where the cleanliness of the packaging, the stability of the material and reliable storage are decisive. Glass is particularly popular for its material neutrality and ease of maintenance when working in small and large batches. If the bottle is made in dark or opaque glass, it naturally also helps to protect the contents from light and UV radiation, which is particularly appreciated by more sensitive ingredients (oils, extracts, active ingredients).
The bottle is compatible with different types of closures and dispensing devices (e.g. screw caps, droppers, atomizers or handy applicators) according to the chosen parameters. The packaging and closure combinations, which are created directly at Handymade, are tested and functional. For other combinations, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and packaging behaviour in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the glass packaging can be reused as long as hygiene guidelines are followed. Before each refill, we recommend that you thoroughly clean and then disinfect the container - for example with /alk001/ or /alk002/.
We recommend selecting combinations made directly at Handymade, where functionality is proven. If you are combining the packaging with another cap, do a short test: fill the bottle, cap it, let it sit in different positions and check both the seal and the dispensing comfort in real use.
Glass is a very good choice for oils and aromatic blends because it is material neutral. For intensely aromatic or volatile ingredients, we recommend choosing a closure with a suitable seal and always test the behaviour of the specific formulation (especially for longer storage).
Rinse the glass bottle after consuming the contents and dispose of in a glass container. The cap or dispenser usually does not belong in the glass - separate it by material (e.g. plastic/metal) into the appropriate sorted waste. If possible, minimize mixed parts and separate components for easier recycling.
