Glass bottle with dropper represents a practical and professional packaging for precise dosing of various liquid preparations. Thanks to high-quality glass and a functional dropper, it is suitable for filling products where control over the amount of content applied and minimisation of contact with the external environment is important. The dark glass also helps to limit light penetration to sensitive components and thus supports longer stability of the composition.
This product represents a combination of a glass bottle and closure with dropper. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The glass bottle with dropper is also suitable for formulations containing essential oils, since glass is a stable and resistant material. For high concentrations of essential oils, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test of the specific blend with the packaging, especially in terms of long-term storage and sealing of the dropper.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if proper hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 %. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and of affecting the stability of the new formulation.
When selecting packaging for a serum or oil concentrate, we recommend considering the type of formulation, the desired method of application and the light sensitivity of the components. The glass bottle with dropper is suitable for products that are applied in smaller amounts and where precise dosing is important. For more fluid products or larger volumes, you can also consider a combination with a spray or pump closure from our range of glass and plastic packaging.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can usually be placed, after emptying and basic rinsing, into the container designated for glass. The closure with dropper consists of several materials, therefore it is appropriate to sort it according to local collection rules or hand it over to a collection point if it is not possible to easily separate the individual parts. By recycling the packaging, you reduce the amount of waste and support a more environmentally friendly approach.
