The glass bottle is a professional packaging suitable for precise dosing of liquid preparations, which, thanks to the high‑quality glass, helps maintain the stability and purity of the contents. The dark glass provides natural protection from light, which is especially important for sensitive formulations such as oils, extracts or serums. Yes, the glass bottle is suitable for packaging active serums, oil concentrates and other cosmetic preparations with a higher content of active substances. The stable glass helps minimize interaction between the packaging and the contents, and the dark version contributes to better protection of light‑sensitive components. For specific, particularly sensitive formulations, we recommend performing an internal stability test in the selected packaging.
The packaging can be reused provided that basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each filling, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle, drying it thoroughly and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol‑based preparation. For disinfection you can use, for example, isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant‑based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. Only after the alcohol has completely evaporated is the packaging ready for refilling.
You can use the bottle repeatedly provided that it is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between uses. The packaging can be refilled with another type of preparation; however, complete removal of residues of the original product and subsequent disinfection with alcohol (e.g. IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 % denatured) is recommended. Always consider the compatibility of the packaging material, the closure and the specific formulation, and perform a sealing and dosing test.
If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material specified in the product specifications. After emptying and basic rinsing, dispose of the glass bottle in the container designated for glass. Plastic or composite caps and any inserts should be sorted according to the type of plastic into the appropriate container. Before recycling, remove product residues and, where possible, labels as well, to facilitate the recycling process.
