The glass bottle with safety closure is a professional packaging suitable for precise dosing and safe storage of liquid preparations. High-quality smooth glass is ideal for cosmetic formulations, laboratory solutions and concentrated blends, while withstanding normal storage conditions and not affecting the composition of the contents. The dark glass also helps protect the sensitive contents from light, making the packaging suitable even for products with a higher proportion of active ingredients.
The glass bottle is also suitable for formulations containing active ingredients or essential oils, provided these substances are compatible with the given type of glass and closure. Before filling, we recommend performing your own stability test – checking the behaviour of the product over time, the sealing of the closure and any sedimentation or colour change. Details on the material composition can be found in the Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be reused if strict hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and closure must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol (ALK001, ALK002). It is also recommended to reuse the packaging only for a similar type of products (for example always oil-based or water-based), in order to minimise the risk of contamination and residual odour or colour.
Before the first as well as repeated filling, it is appropriate to rinse the bottle, remove any dust contamination and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example with isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. After disinfection, leave the packaging to dry completely at room temperature. While working, observe hygiene, use clean tools for filling and prevent the neck of the bottle from coming into contact with the skin or uncontrolled surfaces.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, you should recycle it in accordance with local waste sorting rules. The glass body itself usually belongs in the container designated for glass, while the plastic or composite closure is sorted according to the material specified in the product parameters. Before handing it over for recycling, we recommend emptying the packaging, removing product residues and rinsing it basically to facilitate its further material recycling.
