The glass bottle with dropper represents a professional packaging solution for the precise dosing of liquid formulations, suitable for both cosmetic and laboratory use. The combination of transparent glass and a functional dropper enables comfortable application as well as visual control of the contents, which will be appreciated by manufacturers of serums, oils, tinctures and other liquid preparations. Thanks to the high-quality material and well-thought-out design, the packaging is stable, hygienic and ready for a wide range of uses in small and medium volumes.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure of long-term reliability under real conditions of use.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
For selecting a suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter you can combine several criteria at once – for example the neck type, size, colour or material of the bottle or jar. In this way you quickly narrow down the offer to only those packages that meet the technical and design requirements of your specific product.
The glass packaging can be reused, provided hygiene principles are observed, even when the formulations change. Before each new filling, however, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose you can use products available on Handymade, for example IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol, which you will find in the category of raw materials and auxiliaries. Disinfection helps to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and prolongs the stability of the finished product.
Before the first filling, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle (for example by rinsing with a suitable cleaning agent or with deionised water) and allowing it to dry completely. Then disinfect the surface inside the package and in the neck area with an alcohol solution to reduce the microbial load. Also check the dropper to make sure it is not mechanically damaged and that the rubber or plastic part fits well, so that after filling there is no leakage or unwanted dripping of the product.
Yes, the glass medicine bottle with dropper is very practical for creating and testing new formulations, especially for concentrated serums, oil blends or tinctures. The transparent walls make it possible to observe colour, clarity and any sedimentation, while the dropper facilitates precise dosing when testing stability, sensory properties or when sharing samples with clients. Thanks to its compact volume, it is also economical when working with more expensive active substances.
Store filled bottles in a dry and clean environment, protected from direct sunlight and significant temperature fluctuations. Always make sure that the dropper is tightly screwed on to minimise evaporation of volatile components and the risk of oxidation. For sensitive oils or serums, storage in closed shelves or boxes is suitable, which also protects the glass from mechanical damage during handling and transport.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend, after emptying and basic cleaning, placing it into sorted waste according to local regulations. The glass bottle without product residues is usually thrown into the container intended for glass, while the dropper and any plastic or rubber parts should be separated and sorted according to the type of material, if the collection system in your area allows this. Always follow local waste sorting instructions so that the material can be recycled and reused in further production as efficiently as possible.
