The glass bottle with a transparent body and a black aluminium cap is a universal container suitable for both professional and artisan packaging of cosmetics and other liquid preparations. The sturdy glass provides a stable environment for various formulations and minimises interaction between the contents and the packaging, which is especially important for concentrated active substances, oils or aromatic blends. The elegant combination of clear glass and a black metal closure looks clean and minimalist and is suitable for brands that emphasise visual presentation as well as safe storage of the contents.
The standalone glass bottle with a neck corresponding to the accessory range is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators), according to the parameters selected directly on the product page. The packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass bottle can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the container must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol of plant origin. This procedure helps minimise microbial risks and increases the safety of the finished product.
After emptying, we recommend first rinsing the bottle mechanically to remove product residues, then washing it with a suitable cleaning agent and rinsing thoroughly with water. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the inner surface and the closure with alcohol – for example with products based on isopropyl alcohol or denatured ethanol available in the Handymade range. Disinfection must be carried out in a well-ventilated area and care must be taken to ensure the alcohol has completely evaporated before refilling.
When choosing a closure or dispenser, the most important thing is to take into account the type of neck and the intended method of product application. On Handymade, compatible combinations that are tested and functional are listed for related products. We recommend filtering closures and dispensers by thread type and then performing a trial filling to verify sealing, dosing comfort and the behaviour of the specific formulation in contact with the selected closure.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend sorting it according to the material type stated in the product parameters and placing it in the appropriate separate collection. The glass part can be handed in to glass collection after removing product residues, and the metal aluminium cap can be placed in the relevant container for metal packaging, or according to local sorting rules. Before recycling, it is advisable to rinse the container at least roughly to minimise contamination of the collected material.
To make it easier to navigate the wide range of packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging material category. In the advanced filter, you can combine several criteria at once – for example neck type, size, colour and packaging material. This way you can quickly narrow down the selection to the containers that best match your product, the desired dosing and your brand design.
The transparent glass bottle is particularly suitable for formulations where you do not want to hide the natural colour and clarity – facial serums, tonics, oil elixirs or massage oils. Glass, as an inert material, contributes to good stability of most cosmetic and technical solutions intended for external use. For light-sensitive components, we recommend storage away from direct sunlight or the use of secondary packaging (such as a carton box) to support the long-term stability of the product.
