The glass bottle with ribbed safety cap is a professional packaging suitable for filling various liquid as well as partially viscous products. The transparent glass allows for visual inspection of the contents, which you will appreciate for precise dosing and for checking colour or sediment. The safety cap with lock also reduces the risk of unintentional opening and is ideal for products where the integrity of the original packaging is important.
Thanks to the durable glass, this bottle is a stable container for cosmetic formulations, technical solutions and other liquid mixtures. Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators), depending on the parameters selected for the specific product. Yes, the glass packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after it is completely dry is the bottle ready for refilling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend placing it in sorted collection according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass container can normally be disposed of in the glass recycling bin after you remove any product residues. The plastic cap with lock should be sorted into plastic collection, unless local collection rules stipulate otherwise. Before recycling, it is not necessary to wash the packaging perfectly; rough emptying is sufficient to minimise product residues in the waste.
This type of dropper bottle is ideal primarily for low- to medium-viscosity liquids, such as aqueous and alcoholic solutions, oils, serums or toners. In combination with a suitable cap or dropper, it is also suitable for concentrates and highly effective active ingredients that are applied in drops. For very thick creams or gels, consider using jars or pump bottles instead, which make it easier to dose more viscous formulations.
The ribbed cap with lock reduces the risk of accidental opening and helps maintain the integrity of the original packaging, which is practical for products that require increased control during handling. In the case of specific child-resistant requirements, however, it is always necessary to verify whether the given type of cap complies with the legislative standards in your country. We recommend carrying out your own testing and, for sensitive products, consulting the requirements with the competent authority or a packaging legislation expert.
