Product description

The transparent milky glass bottle is a universal packaging solution suitable for filling various liquid and lightly viscous preparations where cleanliness, stability and a professional product presentation are important. The milky, semi-transparent glass has an aesthetic appearance, allows control of the contents and at the same time helps to visually unify product collections in cosmetic as well as artisanal ranges. Thanks to its high-quality workmanship, this bottle is ideal for formulations that require reliable closure and consistent dosing.

Possible uses

  • Cosmetic products – serums, facial and body oils, toners, essences, hair lotions, facial boosters or treatment cures.
  • Artisanally produced face and body care products – gentle emulsions, oil blends, treatment elixirs and special cures for problematic skin.
  • Extracts and macerates – herbal oil macerates, glycerine extracts, functional active blends intended for external use.
  • Oil and aromatic blends – aromatherapeutic compositions, massage oils, perfume oils, fragranced blends for bath and body care.
  • Laboratory and development samples – test batches of formulations, reference samples and small product series intended for internal trials or client testing.

Packaging benefits

  • Material stability – glass is a chemically resistant material that minimizes interactions between the packaging and the contents, which is important for active substances, fragrances and natural extracts.
  • Safe protection of the contents – the smooth inner surface of the bottle facilitates even emptying, supports formulation stability and helps maintain the sensory properties of the product throughout the period of use.
  • Professional appearance – milky transparent glass looks aesthetically clean, highlights the colour of the contents and gives your products a consistent, branded character.
  • Universal use – a suitable bottle for a wide range of cosmetic formulas, test series and artisanal products, whether oil-based, water-based or two-phase blends.
  • Ecological character – when handled correctly, the glass packaging can be reused multiple times or subsequently recycled in accordance with local waste sorting regulations.

Combining with closures and dispensers

The glass bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems, allowing you to adapt the method of application to the specific product and target group. When selecting suitable accessories, base your choice on the parameters given with the product.
  • Possibility of combining with screw caps for simple and reliable closing.
  • Compatibility with droppers – ideal for serums, oils and concentrated preparations where precise dosing is important.
  • Suitable for spray pumps when you need a fine mist for toners, facial and hair waters or refreshing sprays.
  • Possibility to also use practical applicators according to the chosen accessories (for example for targeted application to specific areas).
All combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for new or highly concentrated recipes.

Technical parameters

All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Is this glass bottle suitable for thicker or oil-based products?

The glass bottle is suitable for oil-based, lightly viscous and water-based formulations, with the final comfort of use depending mainly on the chosen type of closure and dispenser. For oils and serums we recommend combining it with a dropper or a precise dispenser, while for lighter toners and waters spray pumps or classic screw caps are usually used. Before launching the finished product, we recommend testing dosing and backflow with the specific recipe.

Can I use this bottle repeatedly for different products?

The glass packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed, whether for the same or a different type of product. However, before each new filling it is essential to clean the bottle thoroughly and then disinfect it, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Consistent hygiene reduces the risk of microbial contamination and helps to maintain the stability and sensory quality of the finished product.

How should I correctly recycle the glass bottle if I no longer want to use it repeatedly?

If you decide not to use the bottle any further, we recommend first emptying it and removing any product residues. Then dispose of the packaging in accordance with the recycling rules stated with the product in the parameter table on the Handymade website. Glass packaging is usually sorted into a container designated for glass, while closures or dispensers may belong to a different fraction depending on the material. Always follow the local waste sorting system and the manufacturer's recommendations given for the specific product.

How can I ensure that the bottle seals well with different types of formulations?

Reliable sealing depends on the correct combination of bottle and closure, accurate screwing on, and the suitability of the materials for the specific recipe. During product development we recommend carrying out your own tests in which you verify: whether the closure fits well after screwing on, whether there are any leaks when the bottle is turned upside down, and whether the formulation does not, over a longer contact period, affect the seal or the internal parts of the dispenser. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional, but for new or specific recipes it is important to carry out an internal compatibility test.

You offer many packaging options – how do I find the right one for my product?

To select suitable packaging, you can use the extended filter which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. In the filter you can clearly narrow down the range according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour and material. This allows you to quickly find bottles, jars, pots or medicine bottles that match your formulation and your brand's visual concept, while being sure that you are working with compatible packaging components.
