The glass bottle with dropper is a practical packaging intended mainly for precise dosing of liquid preparations such as serums, oils, extracts or tinctures. Thanks to the solid glass container and high-quality dropper, it enables controlled and hygienic drop-by-drop dosing, which is ideal for concentrated blends that require precise application.
The packaging is suitable for various types of liquid and slightly viscous formulations where stability, purity of the contents and protection from contact with air are important. Glass is a chemically resistant and inert material which, when used correctly, does not react with most cosmetic and technical components, thereby helping to maintain the quality and consistency of the stored product.
The glass bottle itself is compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems, such as screw caps, droppers, spray tops or practical applicators, depending on the parameters selected when ordering. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure of reliable and safe use under your specific conditions.

Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if handled correctly and if there is no visible damage. However, with every refilling it is essential to follow hygiene principles – the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and, before filling, disinfected with a suitable preparation, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. In this way you reduce the risk of microbial contamination and prolong the stability of your product.
Before re-use we recommend rinsing the packaging with a suitable residual solvent or oil (according to the type of the original filling), then washing it with warm water and a mild detergent and rinsing thoroughly. After drying, the inner surfaces of the bottle and the parts of the dropper must be disinfected – ideally using preparations such as isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. Only after the alcohol has completely evaporated and after you have made sure that the packaging is clean is it appropriate to proceed to filling with a new formulation.
The dropper is most suitable for low- to medium-viscosity liquids where precise dosing in individual drops is important. These include, for example, facial and eye serums, highly concentrated oil blends, active solutions, aromatherapeutic compositions or specific treatment products for the skin. With very thick or gel-type products, dripping may no longer be sufficiently smooth, so it is recommended always to test the actual dosing with the specific formulation in advance.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend placing it in sorted waste collection according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can usually be placed in a glass container once it has been freed of any product residues. The dropper and any plastic or rubber parts should be separated and sorted according to local recycling rules and material labelling. Before placing it in collection, always remove as much product residue as possible so that the packaging is more easily recyclable.
