This glass bottle is supplied as a well-thought-out combination of container and dispenser, so it is ready for direct filling and use without the need for additional components. Combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) to verify that the packaging works optimally with your particular product.

Yes, this glass packaging can be used repeatedly, provided that hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle, dispenser and top cap must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol solution, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and any impact on the stability of your formulation.
The bottle is ideal for products that require precise, spot or very economical dosing – for example facial serums, intensive oil concentrates, nail oils, treatment cures for sensitive areas or concentrated aromatic blends. Thanks to the dispenser, it is also suitable for formulations with a higher content of active substances that you do not want to apply in a large amount at once.
First we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable residual solvent (for example oil for oil blends or water for water-based formulations), then washing it with a mild cleaning agent and rinsing well. After drying, the entire packaging, including the dispenser, must be disinfected with a suitable alcohol solution, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. Before refilling, make sure that no residues of the original product or cleaning agents remain in the packaging.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition listed in the product parameters. The glass body of the bottle, once emptied and basically cleaned, is usually placed in the container intended for glass, while the plastic and metal parts of the dispenser and the top cap go into sorted waste according to the respective material. Before discarding, it is advisable to remove product residues and any labels to ensure the most efficient recycling in line with local waste-sorting rules.
