The glass bottle with ribbed safety cap represents a professional packaging solution suitable for filling various liquid and partially viscous preparations. Clear laboratory glass allows immediate visual inspection of the contents, which is ideal for home and artisanal production of cosmetics, supplements or concentrated blends. The combination of a durable glass medicine bottle and a functional cap with a safety feature helps minimize the risk of unintended opening during storage and transport.
The smooth inner surface of the glass is suitable for packaging products that require purity, stability and a material‑neutral container. The ribbed black cap with safety feature ensures convenient opening and closing and at the same time contributes to safe handling of the bottle’s contents in both home and professional environments.
This standalone glass bottle is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dosing methods according to the selected product parameters. Depending on the specific application, it is possible to choose screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators that make it possible to adapt the dosing to the particular type of formulation.
The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – verifying sealing, dosing comfort and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formula (viscosity, oil content, alcohol or active substances).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Before first use, we recommend thoroughly rinsing the bottle, checking visual cleanliness and then disinfecting it. For disinfection you can use technical alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol at an appropriate concentration, and let the packaging dry completely at room temperature. When handling the packaging and the cap, pay attention to a clean working environment and hand hygiene to minimize the risk of contamination of the filled product.
The packaging can be reused if handled appropriately and without visible damage. For each reuse, however, it is necessary to proceed hygienically – mechanically clean the bottle after emptying, rinse it thoroughly and disinfect it before refilling. For disinfection we recommend using alcohol‑based products, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which are also available in the Handymade range, and letting the packaging dry completely before the next use.
To select a suitable bottle, medicine bottle or other packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the filter you can conveniently combine several parameters – for example neck type and diameter, overall packaging size, colour and material. This will quickly narrow the offer down to only those packages that meet the technical and aesthetic requirements of your specific product.
The glass bottle is designed primarily for liquid to slightly viscous preparations such as serums, oils, fluid emulsions or tinctures. The specific dosing comfort depends on the selected closure or applicator – a dropper is suitable for precise dosing of concentrated products, a classic screw cap for storage and transferring, and a spray pump for water‑based solutions or toners. For very thick formulations, we recommend verifying the flow and suitability of the chosen dosing system with your own test.
To achieve the longest possible stability of the contents, it is appropriate to store the filled bottle well closed, in a dry environment, without direct sunlight and away from sources of heat. Avoid frequent temperature fluctuations and prolonged exposure to high humidity. For sensitive formulations (for example with a higher proportion of natural oils or active substances), it is advisable to follow the storage and shelf‑life recommendations of the formula manufacturer and to label the packaging with the filling date.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend assigning it after emptying and basic cleaning to sorted waste according to the material composition indicated in the product parameters. The glass body of the packaging is usually placed in the glass container, while plastic parts of the cap should be separated and sorted separately according to local waste‑management rules. By following the sorting recommendations, you support material recycling and the reduction of mixed waste volume.
