The glass dropper bottle is a professional packaging solution designed for precise dosing of liquid preparations where control of every drop is important. Thanks to the combination of a durable glass vial and a practical dropper integrated in the cap, it is suitable for packing products that require hygienic, convenient and repeatedly accurate dosing. This type of packaging is ideal for formulations that are sensitive to external influences and for products whose contents need to be protected during both storage and use.
This type of glass bottle is supplied as a functional combination of vial + cap with dropper, which is optimized for dropwise dosing of the contents. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) to ensure that the packaging is suitable for your particular product.

The glass vial is generally suitable for formulations containing oils, essential oils and aromatic components, because glass provides a stable environment and minimizes the risk of unwanted interactions. However, we recommend always performing your own compatibility test with the specific composition to verify the stability of the product’s fragrance, colour and viscosity during long-term storage.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each refilling, the vial and the cap must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based disinfectant, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. Only after the packaging has completely dried do we recommend refilling it again, in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination and product degradation.
The dropper is designed to allow dropwise dosing of the contents when the vial is gently tilted. It is recommended to hold the bottle vertically and gradually tilt it until it starts to drip at a steady rate. More viscous formulations may drip more slowly, so it is advisable to check the real behaviour of the specific product before filling and, if necessary, adjust the viscosity or the method of application.
To select a suitable bottle, jar or vial, you can use the advanced filter in the packaging categories. It is located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant category and allows you to filter packaging by neck type, size, colour and material. This enables you to quickly narrow down the selection to only those packages that meet the requirements of your product and dosing method.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the information in the product parameter table. After emptying and basic cleaning, the glass container should be sorted into glass collection, and the plastic parts of the cap should be placed in the appropriate container according to local rules for plastic sorting. Before recycling, it is advisable to remove product residues from the packaging to make processing in the recycling process easier.
