Is this glass bottle with roll-on applicator also suitable for more viscous oils or serums?

The roll-on system is suitable for most light to medium viscosity oil-based and serum formulations. For very thick oils or gel textures, we recommend first testing the flow through the roll-on ball and the behaviour of the product during application. In the case of more viscous blends, it may be necessary to adjust the formula (for example by reducing the proportion of waxes or butters) or to choose another type of dosing within the available packaging solutions.

How should I correctly clean and reuse this glass pharmaceutical bottle with roll-on ball?

The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle, roll-on insert and closure must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable product, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 isopropyl alkohol (ALK001) and etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný (ALK002), which you can find on the pages IPA 99 isopropyl alkohol 1 l and Etanol 96 denaturovaný rastlinný 1 l. After thorough drying, the packaging can again be safely filled with a new formulation.

How should I best store the glass roll-on packaging to protect the contents from deterioration?

To maintain the stability of the contents, we recommend storing the filled bottle in a dry, cooler and shaded place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. For products with a higher proportion of sensitive components (for example essential oils or antioxidants), it is advisable to minimise frequent temperature fluctuations and always ensure that the closure is tightly closed in order to reduce volatility and oxidation.

How can I dispose of or recycle this glass packaging in an environmentally friendly way if I do not want to continue using it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition given in the parameter table for the product. The glass bottle can generally be placed, after emptying and basic cleaning of any remaining contents, in the container intended for glass sorting. Plastic or metal parts (for example the roll-on insert, any seals or the closure) must be separated according to their material and placed in the appropriate collection container, unless otherwise indicated in the product parameters.
