Glass bottle with dropper is a universal packaging suitable for precise dosing of liquid preparations where accurate drop-by-drop application is important. Thanks to the high-quality glass and practical dropper, it is ideal for filling cosmetic formulations, concentrated blends and laboratory solutions, providing them with stable and hygienic storage.
The packaging is designed to allow convenient filling and reliable dosing even with more frequent use. The combination of glass vial and dropper minimizes the contact of the contents with air and hands, helping to maintain the quality and efficacy of active ingredients throughout the entire period of use.
Glass bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters in the product detail. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Before first use, we recommend cleaning the packaging thoroughly and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based disinfectant. For this purpose, you can use for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After disinfection, let the bottle and the dropper dry completely at room temperature so that no residual moisture remains, which could affect the stability of the product being prepared.
The packaging can be reused provided that you follow basic hygiene rules and always clean it thoroughly between individual uses. Before each new filling, the bottle and dropper must be washed, checked for mechanical damage and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based product, for example with IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or with 96% ethanol denatured plant-based. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and reduces the likelihood of your product deteriorating.
To select suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on a specific category, the advanced filter is located at the top of the page and allows clear filtering according to several parameters – especially by neck type, size, colour and packaging material. This allows you to quickly narrow down the offer to bottles, jars or pots that best match your formulation, dosing method and the desired visual appearance of the final product.
Always store the filled bottle tightly closed, in a dry environment and away from direct heat radiation or rapid temperature fluctuations. It is recommended to keep it at a stable room temperature and protect it from direct sunlight in line with the recommendations for your specific formulation. After use, always screw the dropper back on carefully so that dust, moisture or impurities from the surroundings do not get into the packaging. For viscous or highly pigmented products, it is advisable to continuously check the cleanliness of the neck and dropper so that dosing remains smooth and reliable.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it as much as possible. After emptying and basic rinsing, the glass part of the bottle should be placed in the appropriate glass container according to local waste sorting rules. The dropper and any plastic parts must be separated and sorted into the fraction corresponding to the material indicated in the product parameters. Always follow the information on material composition in the parameter table on the product page and local regulations on waste management so that recycling is as effective as possible.
The dropper bottle is optimal for low- to medium-viscosity preparations such as oil and hydroalcoholic solutions, facial serums, active concentrates and other formulations that require drop-by-drop dosing. For very thick or gel-type products, dosing with a dropper may be less smooth, so in such cases it is recommended to consider a more suitable type of closure or dispenser. When working with a high content of active substances (for example acids, retinoids or intense extracts), the dropper enables convenient, gradual dosing and better control over the amount of product applied.
