The glass vial, tall, black atomizer is a practical packaging material for the safe packaging of liquid and low-viscosity products where material stability and reliable protection of the contents during storage are important. Thanks to the dark glass, light exposure to sensitive ingredients is naturally reduced, thus promoting the stability of formulations. The packaging is suitable for both normal and more demanding operational use and meets both cosmetic and food quality requirements.
The packaging and closure combinations that are created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and packaging behaviour in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes. For food applications, we recommend that you take care of the cleanliness of the packaging, choose a suitable closure and check the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific contents (especially the seal and the practical dispensing).
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each filling, the container should be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, for example with IPA 99% (ALK001) or ethanol 96% (ALK002). After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry completely and fill until dry.
For best results, use low viscosity refills designed for spray application. We recommend a dosage test to verify that the chosen cartridge does not clog the spray mechanics, especially for mixtures with solid particles or thicker formulations.
If you choose not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it. Take the empty and rinsed glass bottle to a glass collection centre according to local regulations. It is advisable to sort the dispenser separately by material (e.g. plastic) if your collection system allows it.
