The glass dropper bottle with black ribbed child-resistant cap is a professional packaging component for liquid products where closure safety and reliable protection of the contents are important. High-quality glass ensures the stability of the filled formulation, while the black ribbed safety cap supports controlled use and minimises unintended opening of the pack during transport or storage.
This type of bottle is suitable for concentrated formulations, sensitive active ingredients and functional blends, where you need precise dosing and long-term stability. In combination with the safety closure, it represents a practical solution for producers of artisanal cosmetics, pharmaceutical preparations and smaller laboratory batches.
This glass bottle is a stand-alone pack which is combined on Handymade.sk with suitable types of closures according to the selected product parameters. They are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the specific selection in the product detail.
The packaging–closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – especially in terms of sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the pack in contact with your specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).
All technical parameters of the pack are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The glass bottle is suitable for most common cosmetic and technical formulations, including concentrated solutions and active blends, because glass has good chemical resistance. For formulations with atypical pH, high solvent content or specific raw materials, we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – fill a smaller volume, monitor stability, any discolouration or changes in odour, and then adjust the formula or packaging according to the test results.
Before filling, we recommend first mechanically cleaning the glass bottle (rinsing with a suitable detergent or cleaning agent, thoroughly rinsing with water) and then disinfecting it. For disinfection you can use isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products available on Handymade.sk: IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After applying the alcohol, allow the pack to dry thoroughly so that any alcohol residues evaporate, and only then fill the bottle with the prepared product.
The pack can be safely reused if hygiene principles are followed. With every change of contents or new filling it is important to carry out complete cleaning and disinfection – wash the bottle thoroughly, rinse it and then disinfect with alcohol (for example with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol). This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and transfer of residues of the original product into the new formulation. When switching to a completely different type of formulation (for example from an oil-based to a water-based formula), we recommend paying even more attention to cleaning and rinsing.
If you decide not to use the pack any further, we recommend sorting it for separate collection according to the material type specified in the product parameters. The glass bottle can generally be placed, after washing and removal of product residues, in the container intended for glass, while the closure is sorted according to its material (most often plastic or a combination of plastic and a possible insert). When sorting, follow local recycling rules and the information in the parameter table for the given product on Handymade.sk so that recycling is as effective as possible and the material can be reused.
To choose a suitable pack, we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, pharmaceutical bottles, jars or pots), you will find the filter at the top of the page. With it you can sort packs according to key parameters – in particular neck type, size, colour and material. By combining these filters you can quickly narrow down the selection to the packs that best match your product, formulation type and desired visual style.
