The glass pharmaceutical bottle with black aluminium cap represents a reliable and aesthetically pleasing packaging for various liquid or fluid formulations. Thanks to the high-quality glass and the precisely sealing aluminium closure, it is suitable for filling cosmetic products, oils, extracts and concentrated blends where protection of the contents, easy dosing and the professional appearance of the final product are important. The dark glass naturally helps to protect more sensitive components from light, which is particularly advantageous for formulas containing plant oils, vitamins or aromatic substances.
Yes, the glass pharmaceutical bottle with aluminium cap is very suitable for various types of facial serums, oil elixirs and concentrated cosmetic blends. Stable glass, when used correctly, helps to protect sensitive components, and the aluminium closure allows reliable sealing during storage and transport. For formulations with a higher proportion of volatile substances or highly reactive components, we recommend carrying out your own stability test and long-term storage test in the selected packaging.
The packaging can be reused provided that basic hygiene principles are followed and the packaging is not mechanically damaged. Before each new filling, the bottle including the closure must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcoholic preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after thorough drying and evaporation of the alcohol is the packaging ready for new filling. When changing the type of product (for example from a cosmetic oil to another type of formulation), take special care to clean thoroughly so as to avoid undesirable influence on the fragrance, colour or stability of the new product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly in accordance with the recommendations given in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can usually be placed in glass collection after removal of residual contents, and the metal aluminium cap in metal packaging collection, provided that local waste sorting supports this option. Before placing it in the appropriate container, it is advisable to empty the packaging and, if necessary, rinse it quickly in order to minimise product residues. Always follow local waste sorting rules and the information in the parameter table for the given product on the Handymade website.
To achieve optimal sealing, it is important that the selected closure or dispenser has the same neck as the given bottle and that it is tightened firmly when screwing on, but not with excessive force. It is recommended first to try a short-term leak test – partially fill the bottle with the product or the selected medium, close it, turn it upside down and leave it for a certain time in different positions. In this way you can verify whether the combination of packaging and closure meets your requirements for sealing, dosing and long-term storage. All combinations offered directly on Handymade are tested and functional, but for original or specific formulations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test.
The simplest way to find suitable packaging is to use the advanced filter in the relevant packaging material category. After clicking on the category (for example glass bottles, pharmaceutical bottles or cosmetic packaging), you will find at the top of the page the option to filter according to important parameters. You can choose packaging according to neck type, size, colour and material, or combine several criteria at once. In this way you can quickly narrow down the offer to packaging that meets the requirements of your product, whether it is a facial serum, oil, tincture or another liquid formulation.
