The tall glass vial with black aluminium lid is a reliable container for precise packaging of liquid products and mixtures with light consistency, where clean filling, material stability and quality closure are important. Thanks to the dark glass, it naturally reduces light transmission and helps protect contents from UV rays, which is advantageous for oils, extracts and formulations with sensitive active ingredients. The packaging is also food grade, so it is also suitable for selected products intended for internal use (subject to hygiene and its own compatibility test).
Combinations of packaging and closures, which are created directly at Handymade, are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and packaging behaviour in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the packaging is food grade, so it is also suitable for tinctures, herbal extracts and liquid nutritional supplements. For each formulation, we recommend that you observe filling hygiene and perform a custom seal and stability test for the specific product.
Dark glass naturally reduces light transmission and helps limit UV exposure to sensitive ingredients. For products with actives, oils or extracts, such packaging can promote stability during storage.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before filling, the packaging should be cleaned and subsequently disinfected (ALK001 / ALK002) - for example with IPA 99% (isopropyl alcohol) or Ethanol 96%. Allow the packaging to dry completely before filling.
We recommend a practical test in real conditions: fill the container, seal and let stand in different positions. Check for possible leakage, evaporation and handling comfort. For aromatic or more volatile ingredients, a self-test is particularly important.
If you choose not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it. Once the glass vial has been emptied and cleaned, put it in a glass container. Separate the aluminium lid and sort it into the metal collection according to local sorting rules. Separating the materials will make recycling easier.
