Black glossy glass jar 30 ml represents a high-quality and aesthetic container suitable for packaging creamy as well as thicker cosmetic preparations, where protection of a more sensitive composition and a representative appearance of the finished product are important. Black opaque glass helps protect the contents from light, thereby supporting the stability of active substances during storage and use. Thanks to the solid glass wall and high-quality surface finish, the jar is suitable for both professional and artisanal cosmetic formulations.
This jar is designed to reliably work together with compatible closures and inner inserts according to the parameters selected directly in the product detail. Packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the glass jar is suitable for a wide range of natural and handmade cosmetic products, such as balms, butters, creams or scrubs. The stable glass material helps minimise interaction between the packaging and the contents, which is particularly beneficial when using natural oils, butters and active substances. When filling, it is important to follow hygiene principles and work with clean tools and in a clean working environment.
The jar can be reused if proper hygiene procedures are followed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the container, remove any residues of the original product and then disinfect it with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection, you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Only after the disinfectant has completely dried and aired out is the jar ready for reuse.
Before the first filling, we recommend first mechanically cleaning the jar to remove dust, washing it if necessary with a suitable cleaning agent and thoroughly rinsing it with clean water. Then allow the container to dry completely and carry out disinfection of the inner surface, for example using the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After disinfection, it is advisable to leave the jar well ventilated to remove any residual alcohol odour, and only then fill it with the cosmetic product.
If you do not want to continue using the jar, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition listed in the product parameters. The glass container should be freed of any remaining contents and placed in the container designated for glass in accordance with local waste separation rules. Any plastic or metal parts of the closure should be sorted separately according to the respective material type. By following the recommended recycling procedures, you help reduce the amount of waste and support the reuse of raw materials.
