Dark brown glass jar 15 ml with aluminum lid represents a compact and aesthetic packaging suitable for filling creamy, gel and more solid products that require protection of sensitive active ingredients. The dark glass helps protect the contents from the effects of light, thereby supporting the stability and shelf life of formulations that are prone to degradation. In combination with a precisely fitting aluminum closure, it creates a practical jar for small batches, samples, travel sizes and final products with an emphasis on the representative appearance of the packaging.
This jar is supplied in a combination of glass container + aluminum lid, forming a functional, tested unit. Packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behavior of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the jar can be used repeatedly with proper care. With each refilling it is important to follow hygiene principles – the packaging and the aluminum lid must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol available in the Handymade range (IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol, Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný). Only after completely drying is the jar ready for the next filling.
The jar is ideal especially for thicker and semi-solid cosmetic forms, such as lip balms, face and body creams, protective ointments, butters, more solid perfumes or concentrated aromatherapeutic balms. Thanks to its smaller volume, it is also often used for samples, travel sizes and small test batches of new formulas, where the combination of practicality and representative appearance is important.
First mechanically remove any residues of the original product, then wash the jar in lukewarm water with a suitable detergent and rinse well. After washing, let the glass and the lid dry completely. Before refilling, disinfect the packaging with an alcohol solution, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After the alcohol has evaporated and complete drying, the jar is ready for further use.
If you decide not to use the jar further, we recommend recycling it according to the types of materials listed in the product parameters. After cleaning, the glass container can usually be placed in glass collection and the aluminum lid in metal packaging collection, but always follow local recycling rules and the information in the parameter table on the product page. Separate sorting of glass and metal helps more efficient processing and reuse of raw materials.

It is also suitable for travel sizes of favorite products when you need compact and sturdy packaging that fits comfortably into a cosmetic bag and protects the product during transport.
