Dark brown glass jar with aluminium lid 100 ml represents an elegant and professional packaging solution, particularly suitable for richer cosmetic preparations, balms and creams. The dark glass helps protect sensitive components of formulations from light and contributes to longer stability and quality of the contents. Thanks to the sturdy glass container and high-quality closure, the jar is suitable for filling products with a creamy, gel-like or semi-solid consistency, where protection against contamination and external influences is important.
Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, this packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. However, before each new filling it is important to clean and disinfect the jar thoroughly, in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination of the new product. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based disinfectant, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the container and the lid to dry completely and only then refill the packaging.
The dark glass jar with aluminium lid is most often used for packaging richer cosmetic preparations such as facial and body creams, lip balms, body butters, protective ointments or local SOS blends. It is also suitable for scrubs, aromatherapeutic balms or more solid perfumes, where direct scooping with a finger or spatula is practical and at the same time better protection of the contents from light is required.
After the product has been used up, it is advisable to mechanically remove any remaining contents and wash the jar with warm water and a mild detergent. We then recommend rinsing the packaging with clean water and letting it dry. Before new filling, to ensure hygiene, it is necessary to disinfect the container and the aluminium lid with a suitable alcohol, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol 96 %. After disinfection, let all parts dry completely on a clean surface at room temperature.
If you decide not to use the jar further, we recommend recycling it according to the types of materials used, as listed in the product parameters. After removal of any remaining contents and basic rinsing, the glass container should be placed in the container intended for glass sorting. The aluminium lid belongs in the collection of metal packaging, or in combined metal collection according to the sorting system in your municipality. Before handing over for recycling, it is advisable to clean the packaging at least roughly, so that no noticeable product residues remain on it.
