Sodium Cocoamphoacetate is a mild amphoteric surfactant tenside derived from coconut oil. It has excellent skin and eye tolerance, making it ideal for use in cosmetic products for sensitive skin, children and natural care.

It is usually used as a co-tenside in combination with anionic tensides as it reduces their irritation and improves foaming. It does an excellent job of stabilizing the foam while aiding in gentle but effective cleansing. It is also effective in increasing the viscosity of formulations.

It is compatible with both anionic and nonionic and cationic tensides.

It is sulfate-free and made without ethoxylation.

Sodium Cocoamphoacetate is ideal for formulating products such as:

• Gentle shower gels and body shampoos

• Shampoos for children and babies

• Facial cleansing gels and foams

• Intimate hygiene products

• Bath foams or bath oils

• Micellar waters and make-up removers
