Sodium chloride is a natural inorganic compound.

It is used as an excipient in the manufacture of cosmetics such as soap, bath salts, toothpastes, bath bombs, but it is also used as an abrasive in the manufacture of fine scrubs. It has stabilising and soothing effects.
