For a new product, we always recommend doing a small trial test. First fill the selected bottle with a smaller amount of your formulation, fit the sprayer and check the sealing during repeated pressing as well as when turning the container upside down. Then observe the behaviour of the packaging over several days – whether there are any changes in the operation of the mechanism, clogging of the nozzle, discolouration of the plastic or leakage. If you are working with contents containing a high proportion of oils, alcohol or active substances, the test is particularly important in order to verify the long-term stability and functionality of dosing.

The sprayer can be reused under normal use, provided it is in good technical condition and you maintain proper hygiene practices. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning both the bottle and the dispensing mechanism and, depending on the nature of use, disinfecting them with a suitable preparation. For surface disinfection of the packaging you can use, for example, products such as IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and possible impact on the stability of the new filling. If you notice deterioration in the pump operation, deformation or damage to the nozzle, we recommend replacing the sprayer with a new one.

Before cleaning, first empty as much as possible the contents of the bottle and the inner tube of the sprayer. Afterwards, the packaging can be rinsed with a suitable cleaning solution or warm water, depending on the nature of the product used, and it is important to remove any residue of the filling in the nozzle area. For repeated use we recommend, after cleaning, disinfecting the packaging using preparations such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol of plant origin and allowing it to dry thoroughly. If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend, after emptying and basic cleaning, placing it in sorted waste according to the type of plastic material indicated in the product parameters; when sorting, follow the local recycling rules in your municipality or town.
