The medical-type glass bottle is a universal packaging suitable for professional as well as artisanal filling of liquid formulations, especially where stability, cleanliness and precise dosing are important. The smooth, flat shape makes labelling and storage easier, which makes it a practical choice for manufacturers of cosmetics, aromatherapy products and laboratory solutions. Thanks to the inert glass, the bottle is suitable for a wide range of liquid products that require minimal interaction with the packaging and long-term aesthetic and functional stability.
The standalone glass bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected product parameters – for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) before filling the entire production batch.

Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based product, for example with isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or with 96 % ethanol denatured of plant origin. This procedure helps minimise the microbial risk and protect the stability of your formulations.
Before first use, we recommend rinsing the bottle with water, washing it with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly, allowing it to dry and only then disinfecting it with an alcohol solution (for example IPA or ethanol in technical grade intended for cleaning). For professional applications, it is appropriate to adapt the procedure to the internal hygiene and production standards of your manufacturing.
To select suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter you can conveniently combine several criteria – for example the type and size of the neck, the overall size of the packaging, the colour or the material used. In this way, you can quickly narrow down the range to bottles, medicine bottles or jars that best match your specific product and method of dosing.
Yes, the shape and material of the bottle make it suitable for development and test samples of cosmetics, laboratory solutions or technical blends. The flat profile makes it easier to describe the contents using labels or laboratory stickers, while the glass material helps minimise the influence of the packaging on the formulation during stability and compatibility testing.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it according to the material specified in the product parameters. Glass packaging is generally disposed of in the glass container, and it is advisable to empty it of any product residues beforehand. The closure, any inserts or dispensers must be sorted separately according to their material (plastic, metal, etc.). By following these principles, you contribute to effective recycling and waste reduction.
The choice of closure depends on the consistency and purpose of your formulation. For precise dosing of drops, droppers or dropper inserts are usually used; for even spraying, spray heads are suitable; and for normal pouring, a standard screw cap is sufficient. We always recommend testing the selected bottle-and-closure combination with the specific product in order to verify sealing, dosing comfort and long-term stability during storage.
