Plastic pill jar with black closure represents a practical, hygienic and professional-looking packaging for filling loose, solid and small piece products. Thanks to the transparent walls, it allows easy visual inspection of the contents, which is ideal when packing tablets, capsules, granules, powders or small cosmetic raw materials. The solid screw construction in combination with the induction liner increases the protection of the stored product and helps minimize the risk of contamination or moisture of the contents during storage and transport.
This jar is supplied in combination with a closure with induction liner, which, after correct activation, helps create an additional barrier between the contents and the external environment. The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, the behaviour of the packaging during handling and the contact of the specific formulation with the material of the packaging and the closure.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
How to correctly activate the induction liner in the cap of this jar?
The induction liner is intended for sealing after filling the jar and screwing on the closure using an induction foil sealer. During the process, the liner is activated by heat and adheres to the neck of the container, thus creating an additional seal. Always follow the instructions for the induction sealer used and before serial filling we recommend making a test series in order to verify correct sealing and the ability to open the packaging for the end user.
Is it possible to reuse this plastic pill jar?
The jar can be reused if hygiene principles are observed, especially within your own production or for home use. However, before each new filling it is necessary to thoroughly clean the packaging and disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example using the products IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Disinfection helps minimize the microbial load and reduces the risk of deterioration of the new contents.
How to correctly recycle this jar and cap if I no longer want to reuse it?
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend sorting it into separated waste according to the material specified in the parameter table next to the product. Before handing it over for separated collection, remove residues of the contents, any labels and check whether the closure and the body of the jar do not have different material markings. Then place each part in the appropriate container according to local waste sorting rules. In this way you support efficient recycling and reduce the amount of unnecessary waste.
What to watch out for when storing filled jars with tablets or powder?
We recommend storing filled jars in a dry, clean and well-ventilated place, protected from direct sunlight and significant temperature fluctuations. It is important to always close the jar thoroughly in order to minimize the contact of the contents with air humidity. For products sensitive to oxidation or moisture, it is suitable to add drying or protective elements to the packaging as needed (for example silica gel sachets), and subsequently take these into account also in the labelling for the end user.
You offer many types of packaging – how can I find the right one for my product?
The easiest way to choose is to use the advanced filter, which you can find in the upper part of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter you can adjust the selection according to several parameters – especially according to the type of neck, the required size, the colour and the material of the packaging. By combining these filters you will quickly narrow the offer down only to the packaging that matches your product and the technological requirements of filling.
