Transparent plastic bottle is a universal container suitable for packing a wide range of liquid and slightly viscous formulations. The transparent design allows visual inspection of the contents, which is appreciated by manufacturers of cosmetics, drugstore products and household products when checking the colour, clarity and quantity of the preparation. Thanks to its well-thought-out shape and stable plastic body, the bottle is easy to fill, label and use in practice – whether for smaller artisan batches or for regular production.

Is this plastic bottle suitable for repeated use?

Yes, the container can be reused if handled properly and undamaged, always with strict adherence to hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected – for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol suitable for cleaning containers. On Handymade you will find suitable disinfectant products, such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/ target="_blank") and ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based (/etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/ target="_blank"). By following this procedure, you minimise the risk of microbial contamination and maintain the quality of your products.

How should I properly clean and disinfect the plastic bottle before refilling it?

First rinse the bottle to remove residues from the previous filling and remove mechanical impurities. We then recommend using a suitable disinfectant containing alcohol – for example isopropyl alcohol (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/ target="_blank") or plant-based ethanol (/etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/ target="_blank"). Spread the disinfectant over the inner walls, leave it to act briefly and then allow the container to dry completely at room temperature. The container is not suitable for boiling or washing in a dishwasher, because exposure to high temperatures may lead to deformation or deterioration of the properties of the plastic.

Is this plastic bottle suitable for storing very hot or warm products?

The plastic container is not intended for filling or long-term exposure to high temperatures. When in contact with a very hot filling or when heated near sources of heat, the walls may gradually deform, the shape may change and the sealing of the closure may deteriorate. It is recommended to fill only products that have been cooled to room temperature and to store the bottle away from direct sunlight, radiators or other sources of heat. The container is not suitable for boiling or washing in a dishwasher.

How can I dispose of or recycle this plastic bottle in an environmentally friendly way if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the container, it is recommended to recycle it according to the type of plastic specified in the parameter table for the product. After emptying the bottle, remove any remaining product, rinse it out if possible and separate any closure or pump if made from a different material. Then sort the bottle into the appropriate plastic container in accordance with local waste collection rules. In this way you reduce the amount of waste and support the reuse of plastic material in the recycling process.
