Transparent plastic bottle represents a practical and universal packaging suitable for filling various liquid and slightly viscous products. The transparent bottle enables visual inspection of the contents, which is advantageous when dosing, checking the colour or monitoring the consumption of the product. Thanks to the materials used, it is a stable, reliable and aesthetic packaging suitable for smaller and larger production batches, homemade formulations as well as artisan production.

The packaging is designed to work well with different types of closures and dispensing systems, which makes it possible to adapt the bottle to a specific use – from fine spraying to precise drop dispensing or classic screw closure. Thanks to this, the bottle is suitable for cosmetic blends, hygiene solutions as well as auxiliary preparations for the household or workshop.

Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for products containing alcohol, essential oils or other more volatile or more aggressive components.

FAQ – Most frequent questions

Can this plastic bottle be reused?

Yes, the packaging can be reused with appropriate handling and reasonable wear, but always with strict adherence to hygiene principles. Before each refilling we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example using the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 denaturovaný rastlinný, which you can find on the pages IPA 99 – isopropyl alkohol 1 l and Etanol 96 denaturovaný rastlinný 1 l. After disinfection, let the packaging dry completely and only then refill it.

How should the plastic bottle be properly cleaned before further use?

Before reuse we recommend rinsing the bottle with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent, thoroughly removing residues of the original product and rinsing several times with clean water. It is then necessary to disinfect the packaging with an alcohol solution, for example using preparations available on the pages IPA 99 – isopropyl alkohol 1 l or Etanol 96 denaturovaný rastlinný 1 l. After treatment, let the bottle drain and dry completely at room temperature so that no moisture remains that could affect the stability of the new filling.

How should the plastic packaging be properly disposed of or recycled if I no longer wish to reuse it?

If you decide not to use the bottle further, we recommend emptying it as thoroughly as possible and, if possible, rinsing it to remove residues of the product. Then sort the packaging according to the type of material stated in the product parameters into the appropriate container for sorted waste (plastic packaging is usually placed in the yellow container, but always follow the local waste sorting rules). The closure and the bottle may be made of different materials, so separate them before disposal. This will enable more efficient recycling and repeated use of the materials in the recycling process.

Is this plastic bottle suitable for use with hot or warm blends?

The plastic packaging is not intended for filling with hot or very warm blends, nor for exposure to high temperatures during use or cleaning. When in contact with excessive heat, the bottle may gradually deform or its properties may deteriorate, which can negatively affect the sealing and appearance of the packaging. We recommend filling products into the bottle only after they have cooled to room temperature and not placing the packaging near sources of heat, direct sunlight, or into a dishwasher or hot water for boiling.
