Transparent plastic bottle 24/410 represents a universal and practical packaging for a wide range of liquid and slightly viscous products. The transparent walls allow easy visual control of the contents, which you will appreciate for cosmetics, cleaning agents and other formulations where control of colour or quantity is important. Thanks to the high-quality plastic material and standardized neck, this bottle is suitable for both professional and hobby use in smaller and larger filling series.
Individual plastic bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters for the products in our range. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – especially in terms of sealing, dosing, long-term stability and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation.
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene principles are followed and the nature of the filled formulation is taken into account. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the bottle thoroughly and then disinfect it, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. This will reduce the risk of microbial contamination and extend the usability of the finished product in the packaging.
Before first use, we recommend rinsing the bottle with suitable water according to the type of product (e.g. demineralised water for sensitive cosmetics), allowing it to drain thoroughly and dry. It is then advisable to carry out disinfection of the inner surface and the neck of the packaging using alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. When working with alcohol, ensure good ventilation and follow the manufacturer’s safety instructions.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the type of plastic given in the parameter table of the specific product on the Handymade website. After emptying, rinse the bottle as well as possible from product residues and then dispose of it in the appropriate sorted waste according to the material designation on the packaging or in the product parameters. Closures and dispensers should be sorted separately if they are made from a different material. For specific formulations (e.g. chemically aggressive ones), also follow the recommendations of the filler manufacturer.
Plastic packaging of this type is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures. In contact with hot water, when boiling or when washing in a dishwasher, gradual deformation, loss of dimensional stability or impairment of the functionality of the thread and sealing may occur. For cleaning and disinfection, it is therefore more suitable to use lukewarm water and then alcohol-based disinfection, for example using IPA 99% or ethanol 96%, while it is important not to exceed the recommended storage and use conditions given for the product.
To select a suitable bottle or other packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter in the packaging categories. After clicking on the appropriate category, the advanced filter is located at the top of the page and allows you to clearly filter products according to several parameters. You can choose in particular the type and diameter of the neck, the size of the packaging, the colour and the material used. Thanks to this, you can easily find a combination that best corresponds to your formulation, the dosing method and the visual style of the brand.
