Plastic bottle with a transparent body and an elegant disc-top closure in a gold finish with a black center represents a universal cosmetic packaging suitable for a wide range of liquid and lightly gel-based formulations. Thanks to practical dispensing via the disc-top cap, it enables hygienic and controlled application of the product directly into the palm of the hand or onto the application area, which increases comfort during everyday use. The packaging is designed to provide reliable protection of the contents and at the same time to look aesthetic and professional in the bathroom, in a salon as well as in home-made cosmetic production.
This description refers to the complete combination of the bottle with a disc-top closure, where the closure is directly adapted to the body of the packaging. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – to verify sealing, dosing, and the behavior of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, pH, alcohol or oil content), so that long-term stability and user comfort are ensured.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
For plastic packaging, it is advisable to monitor over the long term the behavior of the specific recipe in contact with the material and to verify whether there are any changes in viscosity, color or odor. If necessary, we recommend first producing a small trial batch that will confirm the suitability of the packaging for the given product type.
If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, its environmentally friendly disposal by means of recycling is recommended. Assigning it to a specific type of sorted waste (e.g. plastic container) should be adapted to the material designation and the recommendations stated in the parameter table for the product on Handymade.sk and to local waste-sorting rules.
The bottle with disc-top closure is designed to meet a wide spectrum of liquid and mildly viscous cosmetic products, such as soaps, shower gels, shampoos, body milks or facial cleansing preparations. Before final deployment on a specific product, we recommend preparing a test batch, checking the smoothness of dosing and the stability of the formulation over time, especially for products with a higher content of oils or surface-active substances.
The packaging can be reused if the correct hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean and disinfect both the bottle and the closure to minimize the risk of microbial contamination or residues of the previous product. For disinfection, we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for cosmetic manufacturing, available in the Handymade range, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely and only then refill.
If you decide not to use the bottle further, responsible disposal by means of recycling is recommended. First remove any product residues by rinsing, then separate the bottle and the closure if they are made of different plastic materials. Assign the packaging to a specific type of sorted waste according to the material designation given in the product parameters and the local rules for plastic collection. In this way you will support reprocessing of the material and reduction of the amount of waste.
When transporting finished products, we recommend always tightening the closure firmly and keeping the disc-top part in the closed position. Before shipping or carrying, it is advisable to perform a test – fill the bottle, close it and place it on its side for a short time to check sealing with the specific formulation. For very liquid or highly foaming preparations, it is advisable to leave a small air gap and to avoid excessive shaking before transport. If necessary, it is also possible to use secondary protective elements (e.g. transport packaging, bags) that protect the surroundings from a potential product leak.
