Plastic bottle – medicine bottle with glossy dispenser is a practical packaging intended for precise dosing of cosmetic and other liquid preparations. Thanks to the transparent body, you have constant visual control over the contents, which makes work easier during manufacturing, filling and also when using the finished product. The combination of the transparent bottle and the elegant black-and-gold glossy dispenser with transparent cap looks professional and is also suitable for representative packaging of products intended for sale.
This product represents a combination of bottle and dispenser designed and matched directly on Handymade. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
Technical data of the packaging (material composition, suitability of use, recommended storage conditions and contact limitations) are crucial when planning the final formulation as well as the filling method. All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging is designed to allow comfortable dosing of common liquid and slightly thicker cosmetic preparations, for example serums, light emulsion creams or fluids. In view of the different viscosities of individual formulations, we always recommend carrying out a trial filling and testing whether the dispenser provides the required amount of product per single press and whether the contents pass through the dosing mechanism without problems.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed; however, we always recommend that it be intended for the same type of product (for example, always only watery serums or the same oil-based formulations). Before each new filling, the bottle and dispenser must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection, we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based agent, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, in accordance with the recommendations for the specific type of packaging and the composition of the product.
When filling the bottle, we recommend working in the cleanest environment possible and using suitable filling tools, for example a funnel or dosing syringes. Do not fill the packaging completely to the brim – leave space needed for the proper function of the dosing mechanism. Before first use, perform several trial presses of the dispenser so that the system is vented and begins to dose regularly. If you are working with sensitive formulations, it is advisable to fill the bottle in the shortest possible time and then store the contents according to the recommendations for the given product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend, after emptying and rinsing it as well as possible, to place it into sorted waste according to the material designation given in the product parameters. It is usually necessary to separate the plastic bottle from the dosing mechanism, or from the transparent cover if they are made from different plastic materials. Each part is then sorted into the appropriate container according to local recycling rules. Before handing it over for collection, ensure that no residues of hazardous or hardly degradable substances remain in the packaging, which could complicate the recycling process.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter that appears at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. Within the filter, you can clearly narrow down the selection according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour or packaging material. In this way you will quickly find bottles, jars, pots or medicine bottles that meet the technical requirements of your formulation as well as the visual style of your brand.
Plastic packaging intended for cosmetics is generally not designed for long-term exposure to high temperatures. High temperature can lead to deformation of the bottle or dispenser and to deterioration of the function of the mechanism. We therefore do not recommend washing the packaging in a dishwasher, boiling it or exposing it to direct heating. For cleaning, choose rather gentle manual washing in lukewarm water with a suitable cleaning agent and subsequent disinfection using an alcohol solution, while always respecting the material limitations stated in the product parameters and in the Packaging Quality Certificate.
