The plastic bottle with white closure and tamper-evident ring represents a practical and reliable packaging for various liquid and partially viscous preparations. Thanks to the transparent material, the colour and approximate quantity of the contents are visible at first glance, which facilitates stock control as well as visual presentation of the product.
The packaging is designed to be stable in everyday use, while also being lightweight and easy to handle. The tamper-evident ring on the closure helps to secure the first opening and increases the end customer’s confidence in the integrity of the contents. It is particularly suitable for cosmetic preparations, home-made formulations and technical solutions intended for hobby or craft purposes.
Bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators), according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

For plastic packaging made of PET material it is advisable to pay attention to proper handling: PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, at which there is a risk of deformation of the packaging. Such packaging is not suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher or for boiling. Gentle manual cleaning at appropriate temperatures and subsequent disinfection with a suitable product according to the type of formulation being filled is recommended.
The packaging can be reused if the type of filling is suitable and the surface or closure is not damaged, always with strict adherence to hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or 96 % denatured ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. Only after it has completely dried is the packaging ready to be refilled.
For plastic PET packaging, we recommend gentle manual washing in lukewarm water with a suitable cleaning agent, without using aggressive chemicals and without brushes that could mechanically scratch the surface. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, therefore do not boil the packaging and do not wash it in a dishwasher, where there is a risk of deformation. After washing, it is advisable to disinfect the packaging with a suitable alcohol-based solution (e.g. products in the packaging disinfection category) and let it dry completely at room temperature away from direct sunlight.
It is most commonly used for liquid and lightly viscous cosmetics, such as facial and body toners, floral waters, hair tonics, make-up removers or various cleansing solutions. It is also suitable for storing concentrated extracts, raw materials and intermediates that you need to have clearly labelled and easy to dose. When selecting a specific type of packaging, we always recommend testing the compatibility of the plastic with the given formulation, especially if it contains a high proportion of alcohol or essential oils.

In this way, you will find packaging that is most suitable for your specific product in terms of dimensions and design, whether it is cosmetics, hobby preparations or another type of contents.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is recommended to recycle it responsibly according to the type of plastic specified in the parameter table for the specific product. Before handing it over for separate collection, empty the packaging, remove any residue of the contents and, if possible, rinse it. Then place it in the appropriate recycling container according to local rules (most often a container designated for plastic waste). In this way, you support the reuse of raw materials and reduce the amount of waste.
The transparent plastic packaging does not limit the penetration of light, therefore it is not an ideal choice for products that are highly sensitive to UV radiation or long-term exposure to light. For such formulations, it is recommended either to choose a more suitable type of packaging with higher protection against light, or to store the product in the dark, or in secondary packaging that prevents light from entering (for example in a box or a closed cabinet). Proper storage helps preserve the stability and quality of the more sensitive components in your product.
