The plastic bottle with disc-top closure is a practical and reliable packaging for cosmetic products and other liquid formulations that require convenient and controlled dispensing. Thanks to its well-designed shape and functional closure, it is suitable for everyday use at home, while travelling and in professional facilities. The disc-top system enables easy one-handed opening and closing, which reduces the risk of accidental spillage and increases comfort during product application.
The packaging is made of high-quality plastic material that is stable, lightweight and resistant to normal mechanical stress. The transparent design makes it easy to visually check the contents and the remaining amount of product, which is practical for dosing and for planning stock refills. In combination with the disc-top closure, this results in a functional bottle suitable for a wide range of liquid and semi-liquid preparations.
The combinations of packaging and closures created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The bottle can be used repeatedly provided that basic hygiene rules are observed and compatibility with the specific product is ensured. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example with isopropyl alcohol or with 96% denatured plant-based ethanol. During repeated use, monitor for any signs of damage or material fatigue and, if any defects are detected, replace the packaging.
Before refilling, we recommend first mechanically cleaning the bottle and closure – rinse thoroughly with a suitable cleaning solution or with warm water and detergent (in accordance with the material resistance) and then rinse with clean water. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the internal surfaces and the exterior using alcohol-based disinfectants, for example IPA 99% or 96% plant ethanol. Always carry out disinfection in such a way that the material is not impaired and allow any residual alcohol to evaporate completely before filling.
If you decide not to use the bottle any longer, we recommend recycling it according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters for this packaging. Before placing it in sorted waste collection, remove any remaining contents, rinse the packaging where possible and separate the individual parts (bottle, closure) in accordance with local recycling rules. Proper sorting makes it possible to reuse the material and reduce the amount of waste.
The disc-top closure is designed primarily for liquid and less viscous products such as toners, light emulsions, oils and thin gels. For thicker creams or very highly viscous gels, dispensing may be less comfortable. In such a case, we recommend choosing a more suitable type of packaging from the Handymade range, for example a jar, a dosing pump or another bottle intended for thicker formulations.
