The bottle can be used repeatedly if proper hygiene rules are followed. Before each new filling it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it, ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for technical disinfection. In the Handymade range you will find, for example, the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol and Ethanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and evaporated can you refill the bottle.

First we recommend rinsing the bottle and the dispenser with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent that is suitable for contact with cosmetic packaging. Then rinse several times with clean water so that no detergent residues remain in the packaging. After washing it is advisable to disinfect the inner surface with alcohol (for example using the IPA or plant-based ethanol products from the Handymade range) and let it dry completely at room temperature. It is a good idea to rinse the dispenser so that the disinfectant solution passes through the entire dispensing mechanism and removes residues of the previous filling.

If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material used indicated in the product parameters on the Handymade website. Before placing it in sorted waste, it is advisable to rinse the bottle from any remaining contents. Separate the container itself and the dispenser according to their material composition – the plastic bottle usually belongs in the plastics container, and for composite packaging it is good to follow the pictograms and recommendations in the parameter table. In this way you will support effective waste sorting and reduce the environmental burden.

This type of packaging is ideal for liquid to medium-viscosity preparations, such as facial and body emulsions, light creams, fluids, gels, cleansing emulsions or hydrating preparations for face and body. The dispenser allows comfortable application even with frequent daily use, which you will appreciate with products intended for everyday care. For very thick creams or balms we recommend first testing the dosing on a small trial sample to verify the smooth functioning of the pump.
