The plastic bottle made from recycled material represents a practical and sustainable packaging solution suitable for various liquid and lightly viscous formulations. In combination with a cap, it creates a reliable container that is ideal for both home and professional filling of cosmetic preparations and other mixtures where comfortable dosing and safe closure of the contents are important. Recycled plastic helps reduce the amount of waste while providing a stable packaging material for everyday use.
Bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters for the specific product. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with your specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters. When working with plastic packaging made from PET-type material, it is important to observe suitable conditions of use – PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures at which there is a risk of deformation of the packaging. The packaging is not intended to be washed in a dishwasher or boiled; gentle manual cleaning is recommended in order to preserve its functionality and shape stability.
Yes, the bottle can be used repeatedly if handled and stored correctly. However, it is always necessary to follow basic hygiene rules – before each new filling, thoroughly clean the packaging mechanically, rinse it and then disinfect it with a suitable preparation. For disinfection we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Only after it is completely dry is the bottle ready for reuse.
PET packaging is sensitive to high temperatures, so it is not recommended to expose it to hot water, direct contact with heat sources or long-term exposure to high temperatures. If the recommended temperature conditions are exceeded, the bottle may become deformed and the sealing of the closure may deteriorate. The packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or boiling. For cleaning, choose lukewarm water, a mild detergent and, if necessary, subsequent disinfection with an alcohol-based preparation.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste-sorting rules and the information given for the product in the parameter table. Before disposal, it is advisable to empty the packaging, if necessary rinse out any product residues and sort it according to material type (the bottle and the closure may be made from different plastics). Then place it in the appropriate container for sorted waste collection, thereby supporting the reprocessing of plastics and the reduction of mixed waste volume.
The bottle is particularly suitable for aqueous, alcoholic or slightly viscous preparations such as facial waters, toners, hydrolats, body and hair sprays, lightweight serums or disinfectant solutions. For formulations with a very high content of oils, solvents or active substances, we recommend performing a trial test – leaving a small amount of product in the bottle for a longer period and checking the stability of the material, the sealing of the closure and the unchanging nature of the scent or colour of the contents.
