Pyridoxine HCl (pyridoxine hydrochloride) is one form of vitamin B6, it is actually the hydrochloride salt of vitamin B6. In the body, it is converted to the active form of vitamin B6 - pyridoxal 5-phosphate.
Vitamin B6 has its main function in the regulation of sebum:
- balances sebum levels
- reduces excessive oiliness
In hair preparations, it performs the following functions:
- promotes healthy hair growth
- increases the effect of anti-dandruff products
In cosmetic and personal care products, it can be used in the formulation of bath products, soaps and detergents, cleansers, skin care products and hair care products.
