The plastic bottle with ribbed cap represents a reliable packaging solution for a wide range of liquid formulations, from cosmetic preparations to technical solutions intended for home or professional use. Thanks to the appropriately chosen plastic material and the practical screw system, the bottle is stable during storage, easy to fill, close and transport. The opaque design also helps to reduce light exposure to more sensitive contents, thereby supporting their long-term stability.
The bottle is designed to be suitable for packaging liquid and slightly viscous products that need to be safely closed and practically dispensed. The ribbed cap allows comfortable opening even when wearing gloves or with wet hands, which is particularly appreciated by manufacturers of cosmetics and home care products. In combination with a suitable type of closure or dispensing system, the packaging provides a functional and aesthetic solution for small and medium production batches.
The standalone plastic bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems available in the Handymade range, depending on the selected product parameters. It can be combined with screw caps, dropper inserts, spray heads or practical applicators intended for targeted product application.
The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – verifying sealing, dispensing performance and the behavior of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation under normal conditions of use and storage.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached packaging quality certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly under normal conditions, as long as it is not mechanically damaged and is suitable for the specific type of product. For repeated use, it is essential to follow hygiene principles – before each refilling, clean and disinfect the bottle and the cap thoroughly. For disinfection, we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or plant-based ethanol Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After applying the disinfectant, allow the packaging to dry completely and only then refill it.
Before first use and between repeated fillings, we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent or with warm water and detergent, and then rinsing it very thoroughly with clean water. Then disinfect the packaging – ideally using alcohol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After disinfection, allow the bottle and cap to dry completely at room temperature in a clean, dust-free place so that moisture does not accumulate in the packaging, which could affect the stability of the fill.
The simplest way to choose suitable packaging is to use the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, medicine bottles or jars), you will find the advanced filter at the top of the page. There you can filter by neck type, size, color and packaging material. By combining these parameters, you can quickly narrow the selection to bottles that will best match your formulation, dosing method and the visual style of your brand.
The suitability of the packaging always depends on the specific composition of the product. Before implementing it in full production, we recommend carrying out a compatibility test – filling a smaller trial batch and observing the behavior of the packaging and the cap during storage (sealing, changes in color or shape, possible softening of the plastic or influence on the fragrance). For very aggressive solvents, high alcohol content or specific pH values, it is particularly important to verify that there is no deterioration of the material or changes to the product’s consistency.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend first emptying it completely and, if possible, rinsing out any product residues. Then follow the information about the material given in the product parameters on the Handymade website – according to the type of plastic, sort the empty bottle into the appropriate type of separated waste (usually the plastics container). The cap is often made from a different type of plastic than the bottle body, so it is advisable to separate it and sort it together with other plastic waste. If you are not sure about the local sorting rules, check the recommendations with your local recycling center or waste management company. In this way, you help to minimize the environmental impact of using packaging.
