The plastic bottle with transparent cap represents a universal packaging suitable for a wide range of cosmetic and liquid preparations where practical handling, content control and a professional appearance of the finished product are important. Thanks to its properties, this bottle is suitable for packaging various types of liquids as well as slightly viscous formulations, while allowing reliable closure and convenient use in both home and professional conditions.
The packaging can be reused under normal use, provided it is in good technical condition and you observe basic hygiene rules. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation – for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 96 % plant-denatured ethanol. Disinfection helps to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and to extend the shelf life of the filled product.
Before reuse, we recommend first mechanically cleaning the bottle and cap with warm water and a suitable detergent, rinsing thoroughly and allowing them to dry. It is then advisable to rinse or spray the inner walls and the neck with an alcohol-based disinfectant solution, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 96 % plant-denatured ethanol. After disinfection, allow the packaging to air-dry at room temperature and only then refill it.
When selecting a closure or dispenser, it is important to follow the thread type and the recommendations given in the product parameters. In the closure, dropper and spray pump categories on Handymade you will find components that are directly linked to specific bottles, so they are tested in terms of dimensions and sealing. Even with such recommended combinations, it is advisable to carry out your own test – check the tightness of the joint, the dispensed amount and the behaviour of your specific product during longer-term storage.
The method of recycling depends on the material, which is always stated in the parameter table next to the product. After using up the contents, remove any product residues, optionally rinse the bottle and place the sorted waste in the appropriate container according to the material designation (typically a plastic container for plastic packaging). If the cap is made from a different material than the body of the packaging, it is advisable to separate them and sort them individually. Always follow the local waste sorting rules in your municipality or city.
To make it easier to choose a suitable bottle, pharmaceutical bottle or jar, you can use the extended filter located at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. With its help, you can display only those packages that meet your requirements – you can filter by neck type, size, colour and material. By combining multiple parameters, you will quickly find packaging suitable for the given product type and the desired design of your brand.
