Yes, the packaging can be reused if handled correctly and if there is no visible damage. It is always necessary, however, to follow basic hygiene rules – before each new filling, clean the bottle thoroughly, rinse it and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol solution (for example with isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol). Only after it has completely dried is the bottle ready for reuse. In the case of any known damage, softening or deformation of the material, we recommend that you stop using the packaging and recycle it appropriately.

Plastic packaging of this type is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures, such as dishwasher programmes or boiling in water. When exposed to heat, there is a risk of deformation, change of shape or deterioration of the sealing properties of the closure. For cleaning, therefore, use lukewarm water with a mild detergent and then disinfect with alcohol. For preparations sensitive to microbiological contamination, we recommend working under the cleanest possible conditions and always disinfecting the bottle before filling.

If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material specified in the product parameters. Before handing it over to a separate collection system, empty the bottle as much as possible and, if necessary, rinse out any product residues in order to minimise contamination of the recycling stream. Then dispose of the packaging in the appropriate container for sorted waste according to the recycling symbol indicated for the product (for example a plastic container for the relevant plastic type). The cap can be separated from the bottle and sorted according to the same principle if it is made from a different material.

The bottle is ideal for watery to medium-fluid preparations such as facial and body lotions, toners, hair lotions, light serums or disinfectant solutions. In combination with a suitable cap or spray pump, it can also be used for air fresheners, textile sprays or auxiliary household solutions. For thicker emulsions and gels, we recommend checking whether the selected type of closure or dispenser allows comfortable application and whether the neck diameter is sufficient for both filling and dosing.
