What material is the cap made of?

The cap is made of PP (polypropylene), which is commonly used for closures in the packaging industry and is suitable for everyday handling.

Can the cap be used repeatedly?

Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each further use it is necessary to clean and disinfect the cap (ALK001 / ALK002), for example using IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based, and let it dry completely.

How do I verify the correct sealing of the cap?

After closing we recommend performing a simple test – briefly turn the bottle upside down and observe whether any leakage of the contents occurs. For specific formulations it is advisable to carry out a longer-term storage test as well.

How do I safely dispose of and recycle the cap?

If you decide not to reuse the cap, after cleaning we recommend recycling it. As it is a plastic made of PP material, place it in sorted plastic collection according to local rules and waste-sorting guidelines.
