Glass bottle – medicine bottle with white surface and black aluminium cap represents a professional packaging suitable for filling various liquid and drop formulations. Durable glass in combination with a high-quality screw cap creates a reliable system that helps protect the contents from external influences and supports longer product stability. Thanks to its practical shape and aesthetic design, this medicine bottle is suitable for artisanal as well as semi-professional production of cosmetics and other specialised preparations.
The surface colouring of the glass helps to limit the access of light to the contents, which is particularly advantageous for light-sensitive formulations such as certain active substances, aromatic compositions or oil blends. The combination of the glass bottle with a precisely fitting aluminium cap ensures convenient use, good sealing and a representative appearance of the finished product.
This glass medicine bottle is supplied with a black aluminium cap, but it is also designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems available in our range (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. All packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – check the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation.

The glass bottle is generally also suitable for formulations containing alcohol or oils, since glass is a stable and inert material. However, we recommend always carrying out a trial filling with your specific recipe in order to verify compatibility, the behaviour of the mixture over time and the sealing of the closure used. For intensely perfumed or highly concentrated products, pay particular attention to the long-term comfort of closing and dosing.
The packaging can be reused provided hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the cap, rinsing them and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol solution, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured vegetable. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely at room temperature. When reusing, monitor the condition of the sealing in the cap and replace it in case of wear in order to maintain reliable closing.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material types stated in the product parameters. After emptying and basic rinsing, separate the glass bottle from the aluminium cap. Dispose of the glass part in the container intended for glass and the metal cap in the container for metals or in the collection of metal packaging according to local rules. Before handing over to separate collection, it is not necessary to sterilise the bottle; it is sufficient to remove product residues so that they do not affect processing in the recycling process.
For light-sensitive formulations, we recommend filling the bottle under appropriate conditions, protected from direct sunlight and higher temperatures. After filling, always close the cap carefully and store the products in a dry, cooler and darker place. Thanks to the opaque glass surface, the packaging is a suitable choice for these types of products, but for long-term storage it is still advisable to minimise exposure to direct light and temperature fluctuations.
