For disinfection of the inner surface and the closure, it is appropriate to use high-percentage alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol 99% or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. After applying the alcohol, leave the packaging to dry freely at room temperature and only then fill it with the final product.

The bottle can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the packaging and the dropper, rinse them and then disinfect them using alcohol, for example IPA 99% or ethanol 96%. It is recommended, between different types of products (for example between different fragrances or active substances), to pay special attention to thorough cleaning in order to avoid mixing residues of the previous contents.

When using the dropper, always gently shake or turn the bottle before dosing, depending on the nature of the product, so that the contents are homogeneous. Then turn it with the dropper facing down and let the drops flow out freely without excessive squeezing or abrupt movements. After use, always close the dropper tightly to minimize contact of the contents with air and to prevent unnecessary evaporation of volatile components. If you are changing the type of product, it is recommended to use a new dropper or to thoroughly clean and disinfect the original one.

If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules and the information given in the product parameters. The glass part can generally be placed in a container intended for glass after you have removed any product residues. The closure, dropper and any plastic or rubber parts should be separated and sorted according to the type of material. Always follow the pictograms and recommendations in the parameter table for the specific packaging on the Handymade website so that recycling is as effective as possible.
