Glass bottle – medicine bottle with white black-gold spray pump and smoky overcap represents an elegant and professional packaging solution, particularly suitable for liquid cosmetic preparations and precisely dosed blends. High-quality glass provides a stable environment for sensitive formulations and, in combination with a functional spray pump, enables convenient, hygienic and economical application of the product directly to the face, hair or body.

This product is a ready-made combination of a glass bottle and a functional spray pump, prepared for immediate use with a suitable formulation. The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure the packaging will work optimally with your particular product.

The glass bottle is generally very suitable for various types of liquid cosmetic preparations, including formulations containing alcohol, hydrolats or mild active substances. Before final filling, we recommend carrying out a trial filling and short-term storage in order to verify the compatibility of your specific formula with the packaging and with the spray mechanism (sealing, consistency, dosing method).
The packaging can be reused provided correct hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely. From a hygiene point of view, we do not recommend repeated use of the packaging for different product types without thorough cleaning, in order to prevent cross-contamination.
First, disassemble the packaging into its individual parts. The glass container can be rinsed with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent and then thoroughly rinsed with clean water. We then recommend rinsing and spraying both the interior and exterior surface with a suitable disinfectant alcohol, for example the products IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. It is advisable to “spray through” the pump several times with alcohol to clean the internal capillary. Allow all parts to air-dry at room temperature on a clean surface.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material types specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the medicine bottle can usually be sorted into the appropriate glass container after removing product residues and separate plastic components. The plastic parts of the spray pump and the overcap (according to their material marking) should be sorted into a suitable plastics container. When recycling, follow local waste sorting rules and the information in the parameter table on the product page on Handymade.sk.
