This product is supplied as a combination of a glass bottle and a dropper, thus providing a ready-made solution for immediate filling and use. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) to verify the suitability of the packaging for your particular product.

Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each refilling, however, it is important to clean and disinfect the bottle and the dropper thoroughly. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol in technical purity, which you can find in the Handymade range, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely and only then refill the packaging.
The dropper bottle is ideal for packaging products that require precise drop-by-drop dosing. Typically, these are facial and body serums, oil elixirs, intensive treatment concentrates, active ingredients for cosmetics, aromatherapeutic oils intended for external use or various booster blends. It is always advisable to test the behaviour of the specific formulation in the packaging to verify smooth dripping and trouble-free sealing.
First remove residues of the original product mechanically by rinsing with warm water and a suitable detergent. After thoroughly rinsing with clean water, it is advisable to disinfect the individual parts of the packaging with alcohol, for example using preparations such as IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Allow the packaging to dry completely at room temperature in a clean place in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination. Only after the bottle and dropper have completely dried is it appropriate to proceed to refilling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the types of materials specified in the product parameters. The glass bottle can usually be placed in glass collection after being emptied and roughly rinsed. The closure with dropper consists of a combination of several materials (plastic, rubber and possibly metal), so it is advisable to follow the manufacturer’s recommendations and local waste sorting rules. Before handing it in for collection, remove product residues from the packaging to facilitate the recycling process.
