Glass bottle – medicine bottle is a universal packaging intended for precise and hygienic dispensing of creamy, liquid or gel formulations. Thanks to the combination of high-quality glass and a practical cream dispenser, it is suitable for products where protection of the contents from contact with air and the user’s hands is important. The closed system helps maintain the stability of the formulations and their sensory properties throughout the entire period of use.
This glass bottle is intended for use with a cream dispenser and, depending on the selected parameters, is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators). Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the bottle can be used repeatedly and refilled with your own cosmetics if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using high-percentage alcohol, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured vegetable. We recommend disinfecting not only the glass itself, but also the dispenser, if this is possible with regard to its construction and material.
First rinse the bottle free of residues of the original product with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent, then rinse it thoroughly with clean water. After mechanical cleaning, allow the packaging to dry naturally and only then disinfect it with high-percentage alcohol (for example IPA or ethanol of food or cosmetic grade). Before new filling, check whether all parts are dry and clean and whether the dispenser works smoothly.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material composition given in the product parameters. The glass part can usually be placed in the container intended for glass after removal of product residues. The plastic components of the dispenser (for example the tube, pump mechanism or plastic parts of the closure) should be sorted according to the type of plastic, or handed over within local separate waste collection. Always follow the recommendations in your region and the information given in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade.sk website.
